This manuscript describes a method that is based on the implementation and setup of mechatronic system can recognize detect, through thermal analysis, zones where heap leaching piles may become locally saturated. Such condition could trigger potential liquefaction, generating local or general collapse in pile. In order to reduce this danger, therefore achieve full stability pile, irrigation must be properly controlled; for instance, potentially saturated zones, flow reduced eliminated until saturation has disappeared. The consists hexacopter, equipped with infrared camera mounted its structure pointing down ground, which used obtain temperature information heat transfer between pile environment. very useful, as level then traced. communication operator radio-frequency link, geo-referenced images are transmitted.
